We provide exceptional Representation, Sales and Marketing Support by working hard for a select principal base.  We develop long-term partnerships with both principals and customers by offering service and attention that would be expected from a "local" direct sales force. 

Exceptional Representation is provided through Continuous Customer Contact, Identifying New Opportunities, Relationship Building between Customer and Manufacturer, Sales Projections and Reporting, Lead Generation, Lead Follow-up, Prospecting, and Identifying New Applications

Exceptional Sales and Marketing Support is provided through Timely Reporting of Opportunities and Sales Projections, Trade Show Support, Input to Sales Brochures, Advertising, etc., Support Customer Visits and Sales Meetings, as well as easy access via phone and email.

We work directly with principals and their customers to maintain and build existing relationships.  McGill Reps also helps principals renew neglected customer relationships.  For principals expanding into a new territory, we provide an aggressive prospecting effort to help identify new customers and new markets.

Our diverse customer data base includes the following manufacturers and suppliers:  military, aerospace, turbine components, medical equipment, avionics, semi-condutor equipment, custom hybrid, fiber optics, telecommunications, automotive, industrial/OEM, military vehicles, unmanned vehicles, and aircraft overhaul.

Our sales territory includes California, Arizona, and Nevada. McGill Reps also has national accounts throughout the United States.  We are located in Southern California,, halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego and have easy access to freeways and to four major airports.  Our office is open 6 AM Pacific to 6 PM Pacific to provide coverage over multiple time zones.

 

Employee Profiles

Tom McGill - Sales Representative, President
Tom has over 20 years experience in manufacturing.  Before founding McGill Reps in 2001, he worked as a sales rep and as a regional sales manager responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing a sales force of reps and direct salesmen. Tom's experience   includes: Western Regional Sales Manager for Poly Scientific Division (Litton), a subsidiary of Northrup-Grumman and sales, program management and contract administration for Alpha Industries Inc and L3 Systems (formerly MICROCOM and AYDIN Corporation). Tom has both commercial and military/aerospace sales experience and was instrumental in obtaining large, long-term contracts for manufacturers. Some of the product lines Tom has been successful with are: Slip Ring Assemblies, Motor Drives, Coating Systems, and Brush/Brushless Motors.

Hilda Brodie - Customer Service VP
Hilda is responsible for inside Sales.  She identifies, qualifies and closes new business opportunities and manages accounts including the entire sales process from prospecting and qualifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support; coordinaties activities with Principal's inside sales force to maximize revenue growth and increase market share.  She ensures the highest level of support to our customer base. Identifies key decision-makers and builds strong relationships with clients.  She understands client’s business and service requirements. Hilda has experience as an Insurance Underwriter for the Insurance industry, and as a Insurance Underwriter Hilda has substantial experience with Customer and Broker Support .

Marci McGill - Inside Sales and Office Management
Marci has over 20 years of management experience.  Examples of the industries she has experience with are:  information technology consulting, healthcare, insurance, power plant engineering services, manufacturing, accounting services, point of service sales, software development and software implementations.  Marci handles inside sales, supports outside sales and manages the office.

Espie Fontes - Lead Generation, Prospecting and Administrative Support
Espie successfully uses the internet and database services to generate leads and identify new customers.  She provides administrative support and is responsible for maintaining McGill Reps' customer data bases. She has varied office experience including customer service and retail sales. She has supervisory experience of 10 employees in a Clinical Laboratory setting and experience developing processes to efficiently control workloads and workflows.  Espie has outstanding leadership and organizational skills are an asset to our organization.
